- Invites will be limited to members of this forum ONLY. Members will be sent an invite by PM or text. Each invited member can bring 2 guests ONLY! This is being done to address overcrowding and safety. I am putting a lot of effort into this thing and i do not get anything out of it except the satisfaction of knowing that my friends are having fun on a gathering that i have planned. So if you cannot spend a 5 minutes of your time to register, I guess you don't really want to spend a day shooting with us. The only thing that is needed to register is to have an email account.
- We will assign Range Safety Officers among us. You will follow all their commands. You may only commence firing upon RSO's signal and will cease firing when the RSO commands to do so.
- If you bring in someone with you or invited someone, YOU are responsible for this person/s.
- Bring eye and ear protection for you as well as your guests! I cannot stress this enough. There will always be someone's friend who walks in without any protection at all. I will try and bring extra ones for sale. I have lost so much ear protection lending it to someones friend.
- Bring ammo for the caliber or weapon that you want to shoot. You MAY borrow any firearm from anyone of us just make sure you have the correct ammo to shoot it. Ammo is expensive not to mention scarce nowadays. Check out the Useful link section for places to get ammo or call BCSP to see if they have any to sell.
- Bi-metal ammo is NOT allowed. IF you are caught with bi-metal ammo, ALL of us will be asked to leave the premises. Pronto! If the tip of your ammo attracts a magnet, it is Bi-metal.
- Bring your own targets, if you dont have one rent one or two from Burro Canyon. Ground targets are okay however rocks are not considered targets. Be considerate, shoot only at your own targets!
- Bring your own creature comforts, chairs, tables, EZ-ups. There are no tables, chairs or shade in our range just a trash can for our refuse.
- Bring your own food and drinks.
- Bring some sort of sun protection. hats, sunglasses, sunscreen.
- If you or your friend are shooting shotguns, make sure you pick up and throw away all shotgun hulls in the trash can.
Addendum:- Before we start having fun. I want to lay out the rules about safety. I also to mention that before you start unloading your weapon downrange, You are to LOOK Left and LOOK Right and make sure you are clear on both sides. Keep in mind that your spent brass are very hot and goes flying somewhere away from you. Be a Responsible shooter, a responsible shooter knows where his brass is landing relative to his position.
- Targets, I'd like for everyone to have at least 1 target each. It doesnt have to be from Burro, it can be home made.
